Ben Stiller's remake of 1947's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"
will be cast by
Rachel Tenner, Back Stage confirmed. Tenner, an L.A.-based
casting director, has set up shop in New York to handle the
project. "Mitty" tells the story of a timid photo-magazine editor
who constantly fantasizes about a more interesting life, only to
find himself in the center of a real adventure when he goes in
search of a missing negative. Shirley MacLaine and Kristen Wiig are
also attached to the project, which is scheduled to start shooting
in New York in April.
